New City Park, Burlington

Construction of the New City Park in Burlington, Ontario started in May of 2010. Phase one of the park consisted of grading 3 Soccer fields and a Storm Water Management Pond. Excavation of the Storm Water Management Pond was a challenge given the wet weather during the month of June. Pumps were rented to keep the water level low enough to finish grading. A dozer equipped with GPS was used to shape the pond to the designed contour grade.
